If either of those things is the case, you have either employed A Yard Beyond (AYB) for your landscaping needs or are thinking about it. This blog post will be devoted to teaching anyone--especially prospective customers--about AYB and what we stand for. Read on below.

Vision: To be the highest quality provider of landscaping services to everyone in the neighborhood of Holland Park. This is the core foundation of AYB and everything that we do: we strive in everything to show the highest quality work and give it out to anyone who needs it. We service the neighborhood of Holland Park, located in Colorado Springs, CO 80907. Our core services are mowing, shoveling, raking, dog poop pickup, and odd jobs and currently, we have over 15 clients. 

We were founded in early 2022 by Joshua Curtiss, our current CEO. He spent half of 2021 writing a business plan and applying for loans and grants from his parents until he had the start-up cash and was old enough to launch with shoveling. It was a dismal launch, as the winter of 2021-22 saw only one snowfall large enough to warrant shoveling. After this massive disappointment, the next service to launch was mowing and this was a much more successful service. In its first year, AYB saw three consistent clients and many one- or two-time clients jump on board for its mowing services. This was followed by the fall and the launch of raking. 12 clients wanted this service between September and November and AYB made the most money of its entire history. As soon as December hit, one of the snowiest winters in the history of COS hit and AYB thrived, shoveling for 5 consistent clients over 10 times during the winter months. And finally, the season we are in right now: the summer of 2023, which has seen A Yard Beyond generating more cash and taking on more clients than ever before. We are only growing, and plan to continue growing into the future.

Mission: Helping our customers enjoy a better, more beautiful yard. A Yard Beyond understands (unlike many other landscaping companies in Colorado Springs) that instead of focusing on making money and gaining recognition and fame, we should focus on giving our clients the most beautiful backyard oasis possible. If we do this with consistency, the money will follow and even if it doesn't we know we have made many people extremely happy.
